Mantas Petruškevičius is capable of creating harmonious environment even under minimalist conditions, even when he knows that his surroundings are temporary and ephemeral – nevertheless, all the objects around him will have subtle form, colour, facture and aroma.
He was sixteen when he presented his floral collection of clothes in Vilnius hotel “Stikliai”. The collection was noticed and appreciated by the then First Lady Alma Adamkienė. Later Mantas was contributing creatively to charitable events organized by this woman. It was a challenge and a solid statement made by him in the country that has lost sense of beauty during the Soviet times that esthetical needs should be manifested in our celebrations and daily life.
says the Lithuanian florist Mantas Petruškevičius, who compares his artistic craft and efforts to create it to the haute couture collections.
